Welcome to the Arch Academy

The Arch Academy is a year-round, wraparound, private, comprehensive school serving Kindergarten through 12th grade in San Diego, California.

There are many students who are struggling in the traditional school setting for a variety of reasons which can include inattention, emotional issues, behavioral issues, substance abuse, eating disorders and autistic spectrum disorders among others. Arch Academy (formerly Rescu Academy) has been here for 16 years and has successfully transitioned students on to other schools, universities and jobs, and has helped families work through conflicts.

This trip has been the most incredible 13 days of my life (to date). I have laughed harder than ever… I have been more frustrated more than I ever knew possible… I felt sad and very far from my family during my Grandpa’s final days… I have seen some of the most beautiful architecture and scenery in the world…. I have cumulatively slept less than I usually would in 4 days time… I have been incredibly touched by the friendship and commitment of my colleagues and blown away at the lack of by others…. I have felt fear much larger than myself… Today, I stood with my friends and students in the middle of Red Square. I am so grateful to my family for allowing me to take advantage of this opportunity and for the support while away. Thank y
